When you see a Dalmatian, what is the first you think of? Most people will say lovely spots, four house mascots, or Disney's 101 Dalmatians. The latter resulted in an increase in demand for race among families with children. Ironically is the breed isn't necessarily ideal for small children due to the very active character. Suitable training and socialisation may, however, make an enormous difference. Dalmatians are often named incorrectly as goofy, hyperactive and uncontrollable.
