This explains the harsh Bristly coat and extra-thick skin, which were somewhat resistant bites and scratches. Unfortunately, fl-Pei because of the breed's history has a tendency to be aggressive around other animals and sometimes even people.

It is too bad that fl-Peis can have a pretty bad rap. Dog breed of the week: Belgian Malinois

Belgian Malinois dog breed photo

If you have ever seen a Belgian Malinois, there is a possibility you misunderstood it for another race. Belgian Malinois might at first glance be confused by some of the German shepherd dog. In reality, the two breeds are not related and have plenty of differences. First, the Malinois is a smaller frame and different position from the GSD. In addition, many feel that the Malinois is even more alert and responsive than GSD. Both breeds are commonly seen in police or military work and search and rescue missions, but it seems that the Malinois has become more desirable for these jobs in recent years.

Without a doubt is the Belgian Malinois not real dog for everyone. In fact, it is not the right dog for many. This is a very active and intense dog constant needs for both mental and physical stimulation. If you have time and desire to own a hard-working and top performer like Malinois, it can only be the dog for you. Dog breed of the week: Mastiff

mastiff dog breed face

On this week's topic of giant dogs, I am pleased to feature Mastiff! This giant breed is all Crouch and power on the outside, but inside it is lovable, mushy companion-and often a bit of a couch potato. I can not help but fall in love with each hulking and slobbery Mastiff I se. However, this is certainly not the right dog for everyone.

Some thoughts, if you're considering getting a Mastiff: you should probably make around a "drool-rag" and duck when a head shake comes. You must protect people and objects from that massive tail (and protect the tail from injuries). Plus, you need some extra cash in giant-size dog supplies.

Despite the so-called disadvantages, I would have bet that very few (if any) Mastiff lovers really remember. It is difficult not to fall for such a lovely beast. Now, here is your chance to show your Mastiff-submit your Mastiff history!
