Lovely Havanese are sometimes overlooked when people think of small dog breeds. It is surprising, because these dogs affectionate, playful, gentle and wise. What's not to love?

Havanese is the national dog of Cuba and breed only native to this country. The breed is now rare in Cuba, but will continue to gain popularity in the United States. In fact, according to the Havanese Club of America exceeds "an interest in obtaining a Havanese from a breeder, that not all health testing availability. It is possible that a person may have a waiting period of six months to two years to get the ' right ' for them. " If you decide to get a Havanese, you should definitely choose a responsible breeder.
