The biggest dog myths Debunked

Closeup of a Dog's Nose

Recently my dog Chloe and I visit some friends, two of which were small children. While Chloe rest, seven-year-old child petting her head. She touched her on the nose then asked me if Chloe was sick because her nose was dry and hot. Of course I told her no, that it is a myth and my dog just rest and her nose was normal. I can't tell you how much it floors me to a myth that this has lasted so well that a child has already heard it and it is not the only one. What about the tall tale, a dog mouth is cleaner than a human foot? I remember that one as a child. Knowing what I know today, I can hardly understand how humans ever trøde that one!

So I set out to collect the most common dog myths and misunderstandings and give the real facts. Most of you are seasoned dog owners have heard all those whoppers and know they are not true, but these are some things for the novice dog owners need to know. What is the highest tale of dogs you've ever heard?
