Massive Cane Corso can be quite daunting at first glance and good reason. This is not your typical big Goofy tail-wagger. Cane Corso is rather a muscular, athletic and powerful working dog. He is fearless, noble and vigilant. This is a serious dog. Having said all that, Cane Corso can make an excellent companion for the right household. He is not necessarily the most a devoted dogs, but he is fair. Cane Corso will form a close bond with members of his family and act as a guardian and protector. That is actually how the breed was named: "corso" was derived from the Latin face, which means "guardian" and "protector." Sugar cane is the Italian word for dog (derived from the Latin canis).


Cane Corso was a new official AKC working group race in 2010. The breed, along with six other new dog breeds, will make its Westminster Dog Show debut this February.


Cane Corso is an amazing dog, but it is definitely not true for all. The breed might territorial and often have an aversion to strangers. Dressage pension breed in the week: Scottish Terrier

This week's featured race was chosen in honor of "Sadie" AKA Ch Roundtown Mercedes of Maryscot., best in Show winner at last year's Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Westminster. 2011 is just a few days away, and probably another breed of dog wins the title of the best show. For now, let us celebrate Scottie.


Scottish Terrier or Scottie, is an active and bold dog with very short legs and a small but sturdy build. Scottie is strong and fearless, but makes also a a devoted Companion. This race is well known for its distinctive beard and short stature, as good as it is frequent Scottish clothing in pictures and cartoons. Scotties has been owned by many well-known personalities over the years, including Queen Victoria, Franklin d. Roosevelt, Bette Davis, Humphrey Bogart, and George w. Bush. Scotties love also? Dressage week: pension race in Iceland on Sheepdog imports

The Iceland on Sheepdog imports is one of the newer AKC dog breeds, which will make it's Westminster Dog Show debut this month. This medium-small Spitz-type race is hard and warning, but still quite friendly and playful. A native of Iceland this herding breed was built to withstand the harshest, coldest weather. Historically, the Iceland on Sheepdog imports were applications, protect and herds of livestock, but also makes quite a breed suitable companion and a lovable family dog.


The smaller size of the Icelandic on Sheepdog imports makes it a good fit for all kinds of home, but race still need plenty of exercise and activity. Dressage race of the week: pension Scottish Deerhound

In honor of this year's Westminster winner Scottish Deerhound is this week's featured race. A somewhat rare breed of dog, Scottish Deerhound is athletic, brave and loyal. This Hound is large, long and lean with a physique much like a Greyhound. The breed is known as the "Royal dog of Scotland" and was once described by author Sir Walter Scott as "The most perfect creature of heaven."

The beautiful Redbone Coonhound is a mild-manierede yet energetic Hound with a friendly and loyal content disposition. Easily recognized for its brilliant red color, is this hard work Mikkel suited for both hunting and friendship.

Like many breeds is Redbone not for everyone. The most important thing for this race is to live in an active household. Redbone needs exercise and lots of it. without sheep he quickly bored. The next thing you know, that lovely song-like bay of his might start to get annoying (to you and your neighbours). He perhaps even worse, try to escape and wander away from following a scent. Redbone is actually so anxious to follow the fragrances that he cannot have confidence to off leash, unless you have a fenced area. Drive to hunt is just hard-wired in these dogs, so that they can hardly resist.


When you understand the Redbone Coonhound, you will probably come to realize what an absolutely wonderful race it is. They are remarkably similar, but they are actually two distinctly separate dog breeds. While Redbone is known for its lovely red color, is the Bluetick Coonhound easily recognized for its beautiful pattern and color.

Bluetick Coonhound is also one of the newer AKC breeds, which will make it's Westminster Dog Show debut in a few weeks. The beautiful Bluetick Coonhound is a hardworking hound that makes an excellent hunter and loyal companion. The breed is of course not right for everyone.
